Kia Abdool

Kia A. currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Mile High Youth Corps, a position held since July 2022. Prior to this role, Kia A. was the Executive Director at Clayton Early Learning, where significant improvements were made to hiring and onboarding processes with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as co-leading a change management restructure for a team of 120 employees. From January 2015 to September 2020, Kia A. worked at Denver Public Schools, first as a Principal in the district's inaugural innovation zone and later as a Teacher Leader Capacity Partner and Peer Observer, contributing to systemic changes and teaching excellence across schools. Earlier experience includes serving as an Instructional Coach at Sheridan Public Schools. Kia A. holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Midland University, a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Peru State College, and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Colorado Denver.
