Christiane Schmidmeier

Christiane Schmidmeier currently serves as Project Manager at MILEI GmbH since April 2019. Prior to this role, Christiane Schmidmeier was a Post-Doctoral Researcher at University College Cork from June 2015 to March 2019, focusing on the rehydration properties of high protein dairy powders within the Dairy Processing Technology Centre, where Christiane Schmidmeier also held the position of Research Assistant. Christiane Schmidmeier completed a PhD in Food Science from Massey University and Riddet Institute from 2011 to 2016, with research centered on interactions between milk proteins and human intestinal surface layers. Earlier professional experiences include positions as an R&D Intern at FrieslandCampina and Müller Milch, and a PhD student at AgResearch from 2011 to 2016, where relevant techniques such as affinity chromatography and microbiology were employed in research. Additionally, Christiane Schmidmeier holds a Degree Diploma in Engineering in Food Technology from Fachhochschule Weihenstephan Freising.
