Joana Duarte

Joana Duarte is an experienced Product Designer currently working at Miles in the Sky, where responsibilities include designing a digital education platform and developing a comprehensive Design System while collaborating with the development team. Previous roles include UX/UI Designer as a freelancer, where extensive research and UI design were delivered for clients in Portugal and Brazil, and UI/UX Mobile Designer at Bryj Technologies, focusing on customer acquisition. Joana has also served as a Product Designer Trainee at OLX Group, a UX/UI Designer at Intuitivo, and a Communication Specialist & UX Designer at Instituto Superior Técnico. Early career experience includes writing and publishing for Sonacirema, foreign fiction publishing at Grupo Editorial Record Ltda, and internships in marketing and communication. Joana holds a Master's degree in New Media and Web Practices from NOVA FCSH and a Bachelor's degree in Communication & Publishing from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
