Derek Friederich

Derek Friederich has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Derek began their career at LDI, Ltd. where they worked as an Associate from June 2013 to June 2015. Derek then moved on to work on merger integration at MAG (a portfolio company) from June 2015 to June 2017. At Tucker Powersports (another portfolio company), they worked on sales strategy from July 2017 to February 2018.

In 2018, Derek joined Milhaus and held several positions within the company. Derek started as Director of Growth Initiatives from February 2018 to May 2019, where they implemented processes and procedures to institutionalize the platform and launched new business lines. Derek then served as Director of Capital Markets & Investor Relations from May 2019 to November 2020. In this role, they led equity placement and fundraising for Milhaus developments and was responsible for investor relations and business development. From November 2020 to January 2022, they worked as Vice President of Acquisitions, overseeing the acquisition of core and core-plus multifamily properties in various markets. Currently, Derek holds the position of Vice President of Capital Markets & Corporate Strategy, where they lead debt and equity capital markets, finance, portfolio management, and corporate strategy initiatives.
