Ika van de Pas

Ika Van de Pas currently serves as the Directeur bestuurder at Milieu Centraal since September 2019. In addition, Ika holds a position on the Raad van Bestuur for Stichting World Food Centers from January 2020 to June 2024 and was a member of the EU expert group for the legislative framework of the EU Farm to Fork Strategy from March 2020 to October 2021. Prior experience includes serving as Director Quality Development at Albert Heijn from 2014 to September 2019, as well as various roles within the Dutch ministries, including the Ministerie van Volksgezondheid, Welzijn en Sport, and the Ministerie van Economische Zaken, Landbouw en Innovatie. Ika's career began as an Inspecteur at the Nederlandse Voedsel- en Warenautoriteit. Educational qualifications include a degree in Diergeneeskunde from the Faculteit Diergeneeskunde at the Universiteit Murcia, Spain.
