Sarah Foster has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Sarah began their career in 1998 as a Certified Arborist for the International Society of Arboriculture. In 1999, they joined the State of Washington as an Urban and Community Forestry Program Manager, a role they held until 2015. From 2015 to 2019, Sarah worked as a Public Information Officer/Outreach Section Supervisor at the Pierce County Department of Emergency Management. Currently, they are employed as a Public Information Officer/ESF 15 lead for the Military Department Washington, starting in 2019.
Sarah Foster attended Washington State University from 1992 to 1996, where they pursued a degree in Natural Resources. Sarah'sfield of study focused on forestry and wildlife biology.
