William Militello

William Militello has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. William is currently serving as the Co-Manager at Academy Fund, where they provide diligence, diversification, and access to real estate operators. Prior to this, they co-founded Localvest, a platform for investing in military founders. William also founded Militello Capital, a new way of investing, and served as the Founder. Additionally, they have served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Front Range Biosciences. In the past, they founded and sold PIEDMONT INVESTMENT ADVISORS LLC. and Piedmont Independent Fiduciaries, Inc., where they held the positions of CEO. Before entering the business field, William served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps. William began their career as an Equity Trader at Knight Capital Markets LLC. Throughout their career, William has gained extensive experience in investment strategies, entrepreneurship, and leadership roles.

William Militello attended Saint Peter's Preparatory School, a Jesuit high school, from 1983 to 1987. William then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the United States Naval Academy from 1988 to 1992. Later, from 1995 to 1996, they obtained a Master of Science in Business Administration (MSBA) from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University.
