Clas Robert Olsson has extensive work experience in the field of software development and systems consulting. Clas Robert began their career in 1987 at Nokia Information Systems, where they worked as a systems consultant, providing sales support and systems development for retail systems. In 1990, they moved to ICL Data and served as the Retail Systems Development Manager, overseeing the retail software development team and managing various projects. Clas Robert then joined Coop in 1992 as a Systems Consultant, where they focused on project management and technical support. From 1993 to 1994, Olsson worked at Dovre Information Systems as a Senior Consultant before joining Milestone Scandinavia as a Senior Consultant, specializing in Powerbuilder pre-sales, demos, training, and post-sales/project startup consulting. The company was later acquired by Powersoft. In 1995, Olsson joined PowerSoft Norge as a Powerbuilder Consultant before becoming a Senior Systems Developer at United Consultants in 1996. Clas Robert worked as a contractor and developed a car import logistics system for Bertel O. Steen using PowerBuilder against DB2. In 1997, Olsson joined Faktum as a Senior Systems Consultant, where they were responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of the Faktum logistics system. Clas Robert then worked at StockPoint Nordic AS from 1998 to 2013, serving as a Senior Systems Developer, DBA, and Consultant, specializing in .net, VB, C#, T-SQL, ReportBuilder, and MDX. Since 2013, Olsson has been working at the Norwegian Environment Agency, initially as a Senior Advisor and later as the Chief Engineer DevOps. In these roles, they have been involved in DevOps management, automation, control, and monitoring of processes, as well as planning for the future. Throughout their career, Olsson has demonstrated their expertise in various technology platforms and has held positions of increasing responsibility.

Clas Robert Olsson pursued various courses in C# and MDX from 2006 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained an Engineer's degree in Computer Science from Gjøvik University College (HiG) between 1978 and 1981. Before entering university, they completed their apprenticeship at Sentrum Videregående Skole, Kongsvinger, earning a Certificate of completed apprenticeship in Radio/Television Technology from 1975 to 1978.
