Laura Sakamoto

Laura Sakamoto has extensive experience in education and community engagement. Currently serving as a Special Education Instructional Assistant at Mill Valley School District since August 2016, Laura has also contributed to Tamalpais Valley Elementary as K-5 School Fundraising Co-Chair from September 2003 to June 2016. Additionally, Laura was a Board Member for the Tam High Foundation's Community Partnership from June 2013 to June 2015. Prior to a career in education, Laura worked as a Sales Representative for Large Group Sales at Anthem from February 1997 to February 2003. Laura holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
