John Weiers

John Weiers has extensive experience across various leadership roles in both nonprofit and commercial sectors. As a member of the Board of Directors for Recycled Lives since April 2021, Weiers supports the ministry's efforts to assist families in Guatemala. Concurrently, Weiers serves as a Staff Internal Auditor for the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe and participates as a Planning Commissioner for Mille Lacs County. Previous positions include General Manager at Ruttger's Bay Lake Lodge, Director of Non-Gaming Operations at Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures, and Director of Continuous Improvement at Merit Enterprises, Inc. Additionally, Weiers has experience in retail management and real estate, having worked as an Area Merchandise Coach at Kmart and as a REALTOR at Re/Max Real Estate Properties. Weiers holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business, Marketing, and Management from Bethel University.
