Phillip Dean

Phillip Dean is an experienced engineering professional with a focus on automation and controls. Currently serving as a Consulting Engineer at Rockwell Automation since February 2022, Phillip has also held the position of Automation Engineer at Miller-Eads Company since October 2018, specializing in integrations for Siemens, Rockwell, and Ignition. Previous experience includes roles as an Application Engineer at RECO, where expertise in Siemens PLCs and automation hardware was developed, and as a Controls Engineer at Heartland Automotive, working with welding robots and injection molding. Earlier in the career, Phillip was an Automation Engineer at Sony DADC, overseeing automated systems and AGVs, and began with Basler Electric as a Quality Control Technician. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from Purdue University and an Associate in Applied Science in Micro Computer Electronics from Southwestern Illinois College.
