Dean Jeffery

Dean Jeffery has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Dean is currently the Global Website Manager at MillerKnoll since 2022. Prior to this, they founded Dean Jeffery Yoga in 2013, where they instructed yoga and meditation classes, organized community-based events, developed a yoga program at Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park, and served as a lululemon Ambassador.

Before starting their own business, Dean worked at Grand Rapids Chair Company from 2013 to 2022. Dean held multiple roles in the company, including Senior Director of Marketing & Design, where they led a team of professionals and was responsible for corporate strategy and brand management. Dean also served as Communications Manager, where they developed marketing and communications strategies, created marketing materials, and conducted market analysis.

Dean also had a role as an Ambassador/Content Creator at ALOHA.com from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Marketing Manager at Vanerum·Stelter from 2010 to 2013, where they developed and executed advertising and promotional marketing plans.

Dean began their career as a Corporate Promotions and Partnership Intern at Meijer in 2009, where they assisted in developing marketing strategies, facilitated visual communications, and negotiated contracts.

Dean Jeffery earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with a focus on Marketing & Sustainability from Grand Valley State University from 2007 to 2011. Dean then pursued Yoga Teacher Training/Yoga Therapy at SEVA Yoga from 2012 to 2013. In 2020 to 2021, Dean obtained a certification as a Chopra Health Instructor from the Chopra Institute, specializing in Ayurvedic Medicine/Ayurveda. Additionally, Dean has several certifications: "Strategic Marketing for the Digital Age" from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business (obtained in October 2019), "Leader, Level 2" and "Team Player, Level 1" from Dale Carnegie Digital (obtained in July 2016), and "Inbound Certification" from HubSpot (obtained in March 2016). Dean also holds certifications in coaching, delegation, and goal setting and accountability from Dale Carnegie Training. Furthermore, they have obtained the "RYT 200" certification from Yoga Alliance.
