Kirsty Rogers

Kirsty Rogers has extensive work experience in various roles. Kirsty is currently the Head of Computer Science at Millfield School since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Computer Science Teacher at Taunton School from September 2017 to August 2022. In 2014, they were the Head of Marketing Communications at Maunsel House for a period of 11 months. From September 2009 to September 2013, Kirsty worked as an Application Support Developer at Debenhams. Kirsty started their career as a Fitness Suite Supervisor at Durham University from September 2007 to July 2009.

Kirsty Rogers completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Durham University between 2006 and 2009. In 2016 and 2017, they obtained a PGCE in Secondary Education with a focus on Computing from Plymouth Marjon University. Prior to these degrees, Kirsty attended Queen's College, Taunton from 1998 to 2005, though the specific degree and field of study are unknown. Additionally, Kirsty has obtained various certifications including MBCS from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in 2022, a Certificate in Evidence Informed Practice from the Chartered College of Teaching in 2021, ISQAM Level 1 from HMC (Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference) in 2021, MCCT from the Chartered College of Teaching in 2019, and Apple Teacher from Apple in 2017.
