Carrie started their career in 2001 as a Customer Service Representative at Stevens Aviation, where they handled customer accommodations and facilitated employee training. From 2008 to 2009, they worked as a Science Instructor at North Shore Middle School, teaching science to middle school students and increasing passing scores on state standardized tests. Carrie then joined the University of Houston as a Research Assistant from 2010 to 2012, supporting educational and statistical theories through data analysis and research.
