Jérôme Ben Zakoun has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles.
Jérôme is currently the EU Head of Risk and Deputy General Manager at MillTechFX by Millennium Global, a position they have held since October 2021.
Prior to this, Jérôme worked at BNP Paribas as a Senior Auditor in the Inspection Generale department, specializing in Global Markets and ALM Treasury. Jérôme held this position from September 2018 until October 2021.
From 2014 to 2018, Jérôme worked at Crédit Agricole CIB where they held two roles. Jérôme started as a Quantitative Risk Analyst in the Internal Market Risk Model team, responsible for regulatory risk methods and their impact on quantitative matters, particularly on the Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB) and the Standard Initial Margin Model (SIMM). Jérôme later took on the role of Commando Front Office as a contractor at Alten, where they developed VBA tools for equity derivatives pricing, risk analysis, and decision-making. Jérôme also contributed to the migration and development of tools during the transition from Sophis to Murex.
Before joining Crédit Agricole CIB, Jérôme worked as an Analyst and Developer VBA at AXA France as a contractor at Alten from September 2012 to February 2014. Jérôme was responsible for developing automation tools and modeling guaranteed minimum death and withdrawal benefits.
Jérôme's career began at Amundi, where they worked as a Quantitative Analyst from September 2011 to August 2012. Their main focus was on developing a computation tool for statutory risk (SCR) within the framework of Solvency II.
Prior to their work at Amundi, Jérôme worked as a Sales Trader at ARKEON Finance, where they developed VBA tools for automating report processes and handled order-taking and block research. Jérôme also gained experience as an Assistant Relationship Manager at Societe Generale, analyzing and reviewing activities of key clients. Additionally, Jérôme worked as a Sales Assistant at Financière de l'Echiquier, where they conducted telephone canvassing and provided macroeconomic analysis and sales pitches.
Jérôme BEN ZAKOUN pursued their education with a focus on management and finance. From 2005 to 2007, they attended "Prépa" Lycée Dessaignes, where they studied mathematics as part of their secondary school education. Subsequently, they enrolled at Toulouse Business School from 2007 to 2011, completing a Master's degree in Management with a major in Banking and Financial Markets and a minor in Quantitative Finance. Additionally, in 2008 and 2009, they attended ESEC (Escuela Superior Europea de Comercio), although no specific degree or field of study information is available. Jérôme BEN ZAKOUN also obtained a certification related to professional knowledge of market stakeholders, specifically the Certification AMF, from L'École supérieure de la banque in November 2021.
