Marlena Alex

Marlena Alex currently serves as the Head of Lower School at Dexter Southfield School since July 2019. Prior to this role, Marlena held positions at Milton Academy as Lower School Dean and Parent Liaison and managed K–8 communications, beginning in January 2010. Earlier career experiences include serving as the Director of College Counseling at Morristown-Beard School and Canterbury School, and as an Admissions Counselor at Lehigh University. Marlena's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Education from Lehigh University, along with a Doctor of Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, specializing in Educational Leadership and Administration.
