Gill Pears

Gill Pears is an experienced professional in both nursing and education, currently serving as a Neonatal Nurse and Staff Nurse in the Neonatal Unit at Isle of Wight NHS Trust since February 2018. Concurrently, Gill has been a Lecturer and Programme Manager in Foundation Learning at Milton Keynes College since June 2011. Previous roles include Teacher Training Programme Manager and Course Leader at Oxford and Cherwell Valley College from July 2003 to June 2011, and various positions at ConocoPhillips from November 1990 to July 2003, including Business Development Manager and Trainer. Gill holds a Master's degree in Education with a focus on Educational Leadership and Management from the University of Bedfordshire, obtained between 2008 and 2010, as well as a PGCE in Further Education earned in 2004. Additionally, Gill possesses a BSc (Hons) in Economics and Technology from The Open University and attended Harrogate College from 1985 to 1987.
