Samantha Michalski currently serves as the Development and Communications Manager at the Milwaukee County Historical Society, having embarked on this role in May 2024. Prior to this position, Samantha held various roles at the Cedarburg Art Museum, including Curator from March 2019 to April 2024, where the responsibility involved curating ten to twelve exhibitions annually and serving as Director, overseeing the museum's finances, operations, and strategic direction. Previous experience includes serving as Assistant Director at the Gallery of Wisconsin Art, where Samantha collaborated on bi-monthly art exhibitions and managed a collection of over 3,000 artworks. Additional roles include Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and various internships at notable institutions such as the Milwaukee Art Museum. Samantha holds a Master’s Degree in Art History from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Bachelor's degree in Art History from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
