James Fort

James Fort worked as the Chief Technology Officer at MIMOSA since November 2017, where they were responsible for digital transformation projects with BP and SAP. James also served as the Co-Chairman of OPC UA and MIMOSA Common Collaborative Object Model Joint Working Group. Prior to that, James worked at Microsoft from October 1996 to October 2014, holding the role of Sr. Architect. At Microsoft, they focused on SharePoint partner outsourcing and governance solutions for fortune 500 corporations and Microsoft partners. James successfully led teams in designing, implementing, testing, and deploying commercial products.

James Fort has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Wayland Baptist University, which they obtained between 1980 and 1983. James also holds an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Petroleum Engineering from Midland College, which they received from 1984 to 1986.

In terms of further education, James pursued a Master's degree in Information Technology at Grand Canyon University. While the exact start and end years are not provided, it is known that they completed this degree before 2020, as they are currently working towards their second Master's degree in Information Technology at the same institution, which is expected to be completed by 2023.
