Anand Kumar has a diverse range of experience in strategy, marketing, and business development. Anand has worked for UNO MINDA Group since 2017, where they served as the Head of Strategy & Marketing. In this role, they were responsible for strategic business planning, global business development, product and brand management, and sales and distribution management. Anand formulated market entry strategies for various regions and developed detailed product and segment roadmaps. Prior to this, Anand worked for Tega Industries Limited from 2012 to 2017 as the AGM of Strategic Marketing, where they led strategic planning initiatives and implemented value-based selling models. Anand also played a key role in transforming a loss-making subsidiary into a profitable company. Anand began their career at Hindalco Industries Limited in 2002 as an Engineer and has held various positions in the industry since then.
Anand Kumar completed their B.Tech in Mining Machinery Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad from 1998 to 2002. Before that, they pursued +2 (I.Sc.) in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Electronics from A N College, from 1995 to 1997. In 2011 and 2012, they attended XLRI Jamshedpur, where they obtained a degree in Management with a focus on Marketing & Strategy. Anand Kumar also holds additional certifications in Digital Marketing and Analytics from ISB Executive Education and in "Unleashing Creativity" from Harappa Education.
