Extensive knowledge of cognition, neuro rehab, and autism related disorders. Jody was raised and grew up in central Pennsylvania. She received her B.S. in Business Administration in 1989 from Penn State University where she utilized those skills within the family business. After becoming a parent to twin boys with severe Autism, Jody set her sights on a new career path - Speech Language Pathology. She completed her Master of Arts in Speech Communications at West Chester University and is currently certified and licensed in both PA and Florida. She has been an innovative passionate therapist practicing since 2003 in a variety of settings including hospitals, rehab clinics, ENT offices and long-term care facilities. In 2019, Jody embarked on an opportunity to support and advocate for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. She was invited to speak at the State Capital as well as the Capital in Washington D.C. advocating for policy reform for children over the age of 21. Jody’s goal is to raise the quality of life and support for individuals like her sons with significant disabilities. Jody has completed the John Maxwell Certification Program, becoming certified in public speaking, coaching, leadership and the skills needed to add value to others. She also has been involved in Real Estate Investing for the past 12 years, enjoys traveling, cooking, music and spending time with family.
