Max S.

Max S. has a diverse work experience that spans across various fields. Max'smost recent role was as the CEO and Co-Founder at MindTrace Tech, a company focused on developing a software platform that predicts the impact of neurosurgical interventions on patients' minds. Prior to this, Max worked as a Project Manager at the University of Rochester Medical Center's Program for Translational Brain Mapping, where they managed the Program's projects from September 2019 to December 2021. Before that, they served as a Partner Development Specialist at Cornell AgriTech's Center of Excellence for Food and Agriculture, where they assisted food and agriculture companies in New York State in identifying opportunities for growth and connecting them with necessary resources. From June 2018 to September 2019, Max was a Project Manager at the University of Rochester Medical Center's Halterman Lab, overseeing a grant focused on developing neuro-protective drugs against brain damage caused by ischemic stroke. Prior to this, they worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Program for Translational Brain Mapping, where they assisted in neuropsych and fMRI evaluations for brain cancer and epilepsy patients. Additionally, Max has entrepreneurial experience as a Co-Founder of Pollinate, where they developed a platform to drive college students to events and collect post-event feedback. Max also co-founded the University of Rochester's Undergraduate Placement Program, which matches undergraduate students in the biological sciences with research projects and mentors.

Max S. completed a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Arts in Business from the University of Rochester, which they attended from 2011 to 2016.
