Tung Nguyen has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. In 2009, they started their career at FPT Software as a Software Developer. During their tenure, they led various projects including the DIRECTV ODC Project in California, USA, where they facilitated a new software project and led the offshore development team in implementing the SkyBrazil software system. Tung also worked on the MONDIA MEDIA ODC Project in Hamburg, Germany, where they built a team and established a successful cooperation with Mondia Media.
In 2013, Tung co-founded Inspire-On and served as the CEO before the start-up failed. Later that year, they joined VietForex as the Chief Technology Officer before the start-up also failed.
In 2014, Tung co-founded ILIAT School and acted as the Chairman. Under their leadership, the organization became the market leader for international test preparation in Vietnam, helping thousands of Vietnamese students study abroad in top global universities. Tung also initiated the ILIAT Foundation.
In 2015, Tung co-founded MindX Technology School and assumed the role of Co-founder and CEO. Two years later, in 2017, they also co-founded MindX Start-up Space, where they launched and operated a co-working space chain across Vietnam, incubating tech start-ups, and hosting tech freelancers.
Throughout their career, Tung has demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit, leadership skills, and success in developing and leading organizations.
Tung Nguyen's education history begins with their enrollment at the High School for Gifted Students, Hanoi University of Science, Vietnam National University from 2001 to 2004. Tung pursued a field of study in Chemistry during this time. Following their high school education, Tung attended Hanoi University of Science and Technology from 2004 to 2007, earning a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering. Tung expanded their knowledge in the field further by pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering at FPT University from 2007 to 2011. Lastly, in 2022, Tung enrolled at Stanford University Graduate School of Business to pursue the Stanford LEAD Certificate in Corporate Innovation, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
