Oscar de la Peña

Oscar De La Peña has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Oscar started their career as a Design and Implementation Engineer at John Deere, where they were involved in the Hydraulic Excavator Project and Assembly Line Project. Oscar then worked as a Project Engineer at ZF Friedrichshafen, focusing on plant start-ups and new project machinery releases. At Shiloh Industries, De La Peña served as a Manufacturing Engineer for tailored welded blank lines and laser welding lines. Oscar also worked as a Field Service Engineer at TRUMPF North America, where they gained experience in providing technical support. Joining Miner Enterprises, Inc., De La Peña took on various roles including Manufacturing Technologies Manager, Plant Manager, and currently serves as the Director of Operations. Their responsibilities at Miner Enterprises, Inc. have involved strategic planning, organizational development, and overseeing plant operations. Additionally, De La Peña is a member of REF and holds the role of Forum Leader. Lastly, they have been a dedicated fan of the LEGO Group since 1980.

Oscar De La Peña obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Technology Jobs Mexico, where they studied from 1991 to 1996. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and High Direction from Universidad Iberoamericana Torreón, studying from 2009 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Oscar has also acquired certifications as a Certified Welding Fabricator from the American Welding Society in October 2015 and as a Certified Welding Educator from the same institution in May 2009.
