Orlando Capillo Vergara

Orlando Capillo Vergara is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in telecommunications and infrastructure management. Currently serving as Chief of Infrastructure & Operation at Minera Chinalco Perú S.A. since January 2015, Orlando has previously held leadership roles in various organizations, including Team Leader Telecom Offshore for Sonangol P&P at both Dimitrius Moo Mayari and JLP Engineering Solutions from July 2006 to August 2014, overseeing multiple offshore oil platforms in Angola. Orlando’s earlier career includes serving as Telecom Engineer at CORPAC S.A., NOC Manager at AVANTEC SAC, and Product Manager at Impsat Peru, where responsibilities ranged from network operations to project engineering and product development. Orlando earned a degree in Electronic Engineering with a focus on Telecommunications from Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru between 1991 and 1995.
