Ing. Wisdom Edem Gomashie

Ing. Wisdom Edem Gomashie (PE-GhIE) serves as a Special Assistant to the Deputy Minister Responsible for Mines at the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources in Ghana since June 2021. In addition to this role, Wisdom has significant involvement in the New Patriotic Party, holding multiple positions including Deputy Western Regional TESCON Coordinator and Head of Collation for the 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections in the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Constituency. Wisdom also contributes as a Mining Engineer, previously with Ghana Manganese Company Ltd. and Gold Fields, and currently as a Community Mining Coordinator at the Minerals Commission of Ghana. Wisdom is the Founder and CEO of Wissfarad Group of Companies, focusing on mining and mining materials. Academic qualifications include ongoing doctoral studies in Mining Engineering and a Master of Laws in Natural Resources Law, alongside previous degrees in Engineering/Industrial Management and Mining from the University of Mines and Technology.
