Pradnya Rao is a research scientist at Minerals Technologies Inc. since June 2021, specializing in the development of mineral-based coatings and packaging materials. Rao has extensive experience in the field of research and development, having previously held positions such as summer intern in synthesis R&D at the University of Maine System, co-op R&D scientist at WestRock Company focusing on sustainable barrier materials, and collaborative research scientist at Harvard University, where cellulose-based nanomaterials were synthesized and analyzed.
