Hector Ortiz has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and positions. Hector began their career as a Supervisor of Installations at Instamec C.A from March 2008 to June 2010, where they supervised the installation of various industrial projects including conveyor belts and storage racks. Hector then worked as an Engineer of Project at Gleason & CIA S.A from October 2012 to August 2016, where they designed and supervised the manufacturing and installation of industrial electrical panels for automated production lines.
From December 2016 to January 2019, Hector worked as a Maintenance Engineer at TPI CHILE S.A, where they were responsible for designing, planning, and executing preventive and corrective maintenance plans for different plant equipment. Hector also implemented improvements and installed new equipment.
In February 2019, they joined CLA Sienz Chile as a Supervision and Execution of Technical Service, a role they held until July 2022. Their responsibilities included providing support and troubleshooting for electronic and mechanical issues, programming industrial fruit calibrators, and supervising staff. Hector also performed maintenance, analyzed equipment performance, solved automation problems, and operated fruit vision equipment.
Currently, Hector works as an Engineering Technologist at MineSense Technologies Ltd. starting from July 2022.
Hector Ortiz began their education at Instituto Universitario Politecnico Santiago Mariño from 2004 to 2011, where they obtained a degree in Ingeniero Electronico with a specialization in Ingeniería eléctrica y electrónica. In 2012, they attended Academia de Computacion Industrial Maracay S.A, specializing in the same field of study. Hector continued their education at the same academy in 2016, focused on Automatizacion Industrial Con PLC SIEMENS S7-300.
In addition to their formal education, Hector obtained several certifications. In 2016, they completed the certification in Automatizacion Industrial con PLC SIEMENS S7-300 from Academia de Computacion Industrial Maracay S.A. Hector also obtained the Controlador Logix 5000 con RSLogix 5000 certification from Import-Import, Valencia, Edo. Carabobo in 2013. Furthermore, they attended the Evento Escuela de Variadores in 2012, organized by Import-Import, Valencia, Edo. Carabobo.
