Andrea Carvajal Marín

Andrea Carvajal Marín is a professional in public administration and international relations, with a degree from Universidad Externado de Colombia, class of 2022. Currently serving as Responsable Sectorial at the Ministerio de Hacienda y Crédito Público since February 2023, Andrea is involved in producing audit reports to identify budgetary and contractual risks, as well as providing technical assistance to territorial entities. Prior experiences include a university internship at Gobernación de Cundinamarca and a previous role as an intern at Ministerio de Hacienda y Crédito Público. Additional academic contributions include serving as an academic monitor for classes on Comparative Political Systems and State and Government, as well as participating in significant research projects addressing violence in Latin America and the implementation of the Peace Agreement in Colombia. Andrea also fulfilled a research consultant role at the Departamento Nacional de Planeación, focusing on building trust between the National Police and Colombian citizens.
