Elena Cabeza

Elena Cabeza is a seasoned health professional with extensive experience in public health initiatives and strategies. Currently serving as the Head of Service for Health Promotion at the Direcció General de Salut Pública i Participació since October 2015, Elena has been involved in various technical groups related to health promotion and chronic diseases with the Ministerio de Sanidad, Servicios Sociales e Igualdad, and the Conselleria de Salut. Notable contributions include coordinating the strategy for Healthy Eating and Active Living, leading the interactive tool HIATOOL.org, and managing the Health Diagnosis for the Balearic Islands. Elena has a strong educational background, holding a Licence Speciale en Santé Publique from the Universite Libre de Bruxelles, a degree in Medicine and Surgery from Universidad de Zaragoza, and specialization in Preventive Medicine and Public Health.
