Avital Eshet has a diverse work experience in the fields of environmental policy, finance, and academia. Avital began their career at RP Finance Ltd as a Project Finance Consultant, where they analyzed international projects and facilitated complex financial transactions. Transitioning into the public sector, Avital joined the Ministry of Environmental Protection as Head of Economic Policy & Climate-Tech, where they led initiatives such as impact investment programs for environmental technologies and B2B environmental cooperation between China and Israel. Avital also played a significant role in financing energy efficiency projects. Avital's expertise in environmental research and policy led their to Tel Aviv University, where they served as the General Director of the Hartog School of Government and Policy, managing budgets and establishing international board relations. Additionally, they conducted policy research on littering prevention, which laid the foundation for a government program implemented by the Ministry of Environmental Protection. Currently, Avital Eshet is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Environmental Services Company Ltd, which operates the largest hazardous material treatment plant in Israel.
Avital Eshet received their LLb, B.A. in Law and Economics from the University of Haifa between 1999 and 2003. Later, they pursued their M.A. (magna cum laude) in Environmental Studies at Tel Aviv University from 2011 to 2014.
