Ott Laido

Ott Laido is a seasoned diplomat currently serving as a Counsellor at the Department for European Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia since August 2023. Laido's extensive experience includes various key positions such as Deputy Head of the Delegation at the Estonian Embassy in Prague, 1st Secretary for Iran and Maghreb in the Political Department, and Alternate Permanent Representative to the UN Office in Vienna. Additionally, Laido has held roles as Deputy Head of the Delegation at the Permanent Mission of Estonia to the OSCE and Political and Economic Affairs Officer at the Estonian Embassy in Minsk. Laido began a career in diplomacy as an analyst at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia, following a solid academic background with a Master's degree in Intelligence & International Security from King's College London and another Master's in Organizational Behavior Studies from Tallinn University.
