Abhishek Ranjan

Abhishek Ranjan has diverse work experience spanning various sectors and roles. Abhishek began their career as an Instrumentation and Control Engineer at Sivananda Electronics from 2012 to 2015. Abhishek then worked as a LAMP Fellow at the LAMP Fellowship program from 2015 to 2016. Abhishek served as a Research and Policy Analyst at the Office of Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) from 2016 to 2017. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as a Research and Policy Analyst at the Office of MP Lok Sabha. Abhishek then joined StratNewsGlobal as a Research Manager from 2019 to 2021. Following that, they took up the role of Incubation Manager at Atal Incubation Centre -JNU (AIC-JNUFI) from April 2021 to October 2021, where they managed the incubates and organized successful Innovation Sprints. Abhishek also received training from Niti Aayog in managing finances and administration. From October 2021 to March 2023, they worked as a Policy, Strategy, and Communications Advisor at the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Currently, Abhishek holds the position of Head of Government Relations and Outreach at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, starting from March 2023.

Abhishek Ranjan's education history includes obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Liverpool Business School from 2021 to 2023. Abhishek also completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, they pursued a post-graduate diploma in urban development and planning with a focus on urban planning and development from Indira Gandhi National Open University in 2016-2017. Abhishek Ranjan also completed the All India senior school certificate examination with a science stream (PCM) from PMHS in 2005-2007 and the All India senior secondary examination from Infant Jesus' School from 1998 to 2005, covering subjects such as English, Hindi, Maths, Science, Social Science, Sanskrit, Art and Craft, and Physical education. Abhishek further obtained certifications in Introduction to Creative Writing from the British Council in 2016, Leadership in Public Policy from the British High Commission in 2018, and a Certificate in Disaster Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University in 2016. Additionally, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in Public Administration from Indira Gandhi National Open University from 2018 to 2021 and a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Artificial Intelligence from Maharishi University of Information and Technology from 2020 to 2022. Abhishek Ranjan also obtained certifications in Funding Course for start-up from YourStory Media in 2020, Chanakya Fellowship on Foreign Policy from India Foundation in 2018, AMCAT Certified Data Processing Specialist from Aspiring Minds in 2014, and AMCAT Certified Software Development Trainee from Aspiring Minds in 2014.
