McLoud Ching'onga is a well-experienced economist specializing in public health and project development. Currently serving as a Pipeline for Bankable Project Documents Expert at the International Atomic Energy Agency since July 2024, McLoud leads efforts to assist Member States in developing comprehensive project documents for cancer treatment facilities. As Chief Economist at the Ministry of Health Malawi since January 2020, responsibilities include coordinating the establishment of the National Cancer Centre and conducting economic appraisals for public health projects. Previous roles also encompass significant contributions at the Ministry of Natural Resources, Energy and Mining and academic representation at Murdoch University. McLoud holds a Master of Health Science in Global Health Economics from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Master's degree in Public Policy and Management from Murdoch University.
