Jes Broeng

Jes Broeng is an accomplished academic and leader in research and innovation with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as the Founding Director and Professor at DTU Entrepreneurship since October 2018, Jes Broeng also provides expert advice through leadership positions at the Danish Council for Research and Innovation Policy and as a program director for Open Entrepreneurship DK, fostering collaboration between researchers and entrepreneurs. Additional roles include membership on the board of directors for PSV and Optoceutics, co-founding DTU’s Board Education, and participation in advisory capacities with the Innovation Centre Denmark and Una Europa. Jes Broeng holds multiple advanced degrees from the Technical University of Denmark and other esteemed institutions, specializing in optical communications and photonics.
