Dan Michaeli

Dan Michaeli has a solid work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Dan is currently serving as the Vice President of Data Protection and Intellectual Property at Minitab since October 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the President at Michaeli Consulting from January 2018.

Before their consulting role, Dan held the position of Vice President of Intellectual Property, Regulatory and Compliance at Candid Co. from September 2018 to October 2020. In this role, they launched intellectual property, quality, regulatory, compliance, and manufacturing operations from scratch and built functional areas while overseeing new initiatives.

From 2008 to 2017, Dan worked as the Vice President Worldwide Intellectual Property at Dentsply Sirona. During this time, they directed all aspects of intellectual property management, including litigation efforts and policy development for a multinational corporation.

Prior to Dentsply Sirona, Dan held the position of Vice President of Regulatory and Director of Scientific Development at Sirona Dental Systems, Inc. from 2001 to 2016. Dan'srole involved overseeing regulatory affairs and scientific development.

Dan started their professional career as a Product Manager at Schick Technologies, Inc. from 1997 to 2001 before moving on to become a Research Associate at Harvard Medical School, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. During their time at Harvard, they contributed to medical image processing algorithms, co-developed clinical tools, and supervised undergraduate students.

Throughout their career, Dan has demonstrated leadership skills, successfully launching operations from scratch, and managing intellectual property and regulatory affairs.

Dan Michaeli attended Tufts University from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Dan then pursued further education at Boston University from 1994 to 1996, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biomedical Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Dan Michaeli has obtained two Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certifications from (ISC)² in August 2022.
