Alvaro Sebastian has a diverse work experience spanning over 14 years. Alvaro is currently working as a bioinformatics consultant at Sixth Researcher since May 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Bioinformatics at AgenTus Therapeutics, a company focused on developing cell therapies for cancer patients, starting from March 2018. Before joining AgenTus Therapeutics, Alvaro worked as a bioinformatician at Agenus, an innovative company researching the use of the immune system to fight against cancer, from November 2017 to February 2018. Alvaro also worked as a bioinformatician at Sixth Researcher, providing support with data analysis in research laboratories, from July 2017 to November 2017.
Alvaro Sebastian's earlier work experience includes being a bioinformatician at Adam Mickiewicz University, where they conducted research on the variability in transcripts of genetic genes in bank vole, from February 2014 to June 2017.
