Paul Ibbett

Paul Ibbett has a diverse work experience in various industries. Paul started their career at NHS Berkshire East in 2010 as a Referral Administrator, where they gained computer skills and successfully assisted patients with their inquiries. In 2012, they joined Certax Accounting (New Forest) Ltd. as an IT and Marketing Director, where they were responsible for website design and maintenance. From 2013 to 2017, they conducted PhD research in Neuroimmunology at the University of Southampton, focusing on the inflammatory effects of systemic bacterial infections on neurodegenerative diseases. Paul then joined Agenus in 2017 as a Senior Research Associate. Currently, Paul is working at MiNK Therapeutics, starting as a Senior Research Associate in 2018 and progressing to Scientist I in 2019 and Scientist II in 2022.

Paul Ibbett completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Pharmacology from the University of Southampton, starting in 2010 and finishing in 2013. Prior to that, they attended Licensed Victualler's School in Ascot from 2008 to 2010. At the school, they obtained their A2 Levels with outstanding grades in Biology (A*), Chemistry (A*), Maths (A*), and German (B). Additionally, they also completed AS Levels in Extended Project (A*) and Further Maths (A).
