David Ly is currently serving as the Business Initiatives Senior Manager at ReFED, a nonprofit focused on ending food loss and waste through data-driven solutions, since July 2023. In addition, David is the Founder of Bizarre Solutions, which aims to democratize business design and technology for microenterprise and small business owners. David also teaches as an Adjunct Faculty in the Arts Entrepreneurship Department at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Previous roles include Consumer Insights Analyst at Hormel Foods, Strategic Selling & Pricing Category Development Analyst and Marketing Associate at General Mills, Human Capital Analyst at Deloitte Consulting, and various internships with Target, UnitedHealth Group, University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, and Ameriprise Financial. David holds an MBA and a BSB, BA in Operations Management Sciences, Human Resources and Industrial Relations, and Japanese from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management.
