Shane Hanly has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Shane started their career at Carlson Restaurants/T.G.I. Friday's as a Host/Server/Shift Manager from June 2004 to May 2007. Shane then worked at the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency as an Office & Administrative Specialist from April 2007 to June 2012. Following that, they joined Minnesota State Colleges and Universities as an Office Administrative Specialist, Senior from June 2012 to February 2013.

Afterward, Shane returned to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and held various roles. Shane worked as an Office & Administrative Specialist from February 2013 to March 2014, primarily focusing on HSPF Data Point Source and Data Modeling and Contract Process Improvement. Shane then became a State Program Admin Tech Specialist from March 2014 to September 2014, handling eDMR and Facility Data Processing. From September 2014 to January 2016, they served as an Office Administrative Specialist, where they managed the AV Coordinator duties and led the Asbestos and Demolition Program's file cleanup effort.

In 2016, Shane joined the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) as a State Program Administrative Technical Specialist. Shane provided Technical and Administrative Support for MnDOT's Office of Audit, ensuring the smooth functioning of all audit-related processes. Shane utilized various software tools like EDMS, Workflow, CAATS, Teammate Auditing software, Dreamweaver Web updates, and served as the Webmaster for the Office of Audit. During this period, they also worked for The Office of Organizational Planning and Management, splitting their time evenly between both departments. Shane assisted in Agency Business Planning and Strategic Operating Plans.

Shane's most recent work experience is with the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, where they have been employed as a State Program Administrator, Intermediate since October 2019. In this role, they serve as the Compliance Case Administrator for the Compliance and Enforcement Unit in the Food and Feed Safety Division. Shane'sresponsibilities include case administration, review, and processing, as well as process improvement initiatives.

Throughout their career, Shane has gained diverse skills in case administration, process improvement, technical and administrative support, project management, file/records management, data processing, and coordination of audio visual equipment.

Shane Hanly obtained an Associate's Degree in A.A Business Systems Technology from the University of Phoenix, attending from 2011 to 2012.
