Elizabeth (Beth) Klemann is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in transportation and environmental projects, currently serving as a Research Project Development Engineer at the Minnesota Department of Transportation since July 2017. In this role, Elizabeth solicits and manages research projects, develops work plans, oversees approximately 20-25 active projects, and provides guidance on research procedures to various stakeholders. Previous positions include Assistant Research Engineer at the New Hampshire DOT, Civil Engineer Project Manager at Ayres Associates, Project Engineer at Kapur & Associates, and District Environmental Coordinator with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. Elizabeth holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Civil Engineering and Landscape Architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, complemented by an earlier educational stint at Rutgers University.
