Nicholas Carpenter

Nicholas Carpenter is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Metro District Communications & Engagement Director at the Minnesota Department of Transportation since November 2024. Previously, Nicholas held the position of Senior Communications Strategist at Bolton & Menk, Inc. from March 2022 to December 2024. With a background in public affairs, Nicholas worked as the Engagement Team Lead/Public Affairs Coordinator at the Minnesota Department of Transportation from April 2014 to March 2022, and earlier as a Public Information Officer at both the Minnesota Department of Public Safety and the Minnesota Department of Transportation. Nicholas earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, completing studies in 2008.
