Carol Mladek has a diverse work experience with various roles in different companies. Carol started as a Director of Communications at the Printing Industry of Minnesota from 1985 to 1988, where they developed a communications program and created promotional materials. Carol then worked as a Marketing Director at Impressions, Inc. Printing Company from 1989 to 1991. At Century Design from 1991 to 1993, they served as a Technical Writer, responsible for reporting, writing, editing, and photography for newsletters and publications. Carol was an Information Officer at Ramsey County Public Information from 1993 to 1999. Their most recent role was at the Public Employees Retirement Association, where they worked from 1999 to 2012 as a Retirement workshop presenter, conducting group presentations and educational workshops and preparing publications to help members make informed decisions about retirement issues. Carol also surveyed employers and members to determine future training needs. Currently, since 2012, Carol has been working as an Education/tour guide at the Minnesota Historical Society.
