Thomas Cutts

Thomas Cutts serves as Senior Counsel for Securian Financial, specializing in the legal aspects of Employee Benefit Solutions, including various life and health insurance products. Prior experience includes roles as Counsel at Hansen Dordell, where involvement spanned Workers Compensation Defense and Bankruptcy, and as an Associate Attorney. Additional legal expertise was gained as a Reference Attorney at Thomson Reuters and as the owner of Cutts Law, PLLC, providing services in financial distress and business formation. Cutts began a post-graduate fellowship with Volunteer Lawyers Network, focusing on the underserved communities in the Twin Cities. Educational credentials include a J.D. cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School, international business law studies at Università Bocconi, and a Bachelor’s degree in History from Brigham Young University - Idaho.
