Scott Goings

Scott Goings is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Assistant General Counsel at Minnesota State Colleges and Universities since January 2008. In addition to this role, Scott has been an Adjunct Faculty member at St. Cloud State University since July 2011. Prior professional experience includes positions as Assistant Attorney General at the Minnesota Attorney General's Office from December 2000 to January 2008, Attorney at Leonard, Street and Deinard from August 1998 to November 2000, and Law Clerk for Hon. Harold D. Vietor, United States District Judge, from July 1996 to July 1998. Scott earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Iowa College of Law (1993-1996) and holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Grinnell College (1986-1990).
