Christophe Veltsos

Chris Veltsos is a tenured faculty professor at Minnesota State University, Mankato, with a focus on Information Security and Risk Management. Since 2012, Chris has been instrumental in launching and directing a graduate program in this field, overseeing admissions and capstone projects. Chris co-founded the Cyber Security Summit newsletter and serves on the advisory board for the summit, which connects cybersecurity leaders. As president of Prudent Security LLC, Chris provides consulting services on cybersecurity risk management. Chris has authored over 100 articles for SecurityIntelligence.com, co-authored four books, and held leadership roles in several cybersecurity organizations, including the (ISC)² Advisory Council North America. Chris's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a graduate certificate in Information Assurance from Iowa State University.
