Deepa Oommen

Deepa Oommen is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in higher education, currently serving as an Associate Professor at Minnesota State University, Mankato since August 2010, after progressing from the role of Assistant Professor. Prior to this position, Deepa Oommen held a Dissertation Fellow role at the School of Media and Communication, Bowling Green State University, OH from August 2009 to August 2010, and worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the same institution from August 2006 to May 2009. Deepa Oommen began the academic career as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Communication and Theatre at Morehead State University from August 2004 to May 2006. Deepa Oommen earned a Ph.D. in Communication Studies from Bowling Green State University between 2006 and 2010, and a Master's degree in Communication Studies from Morehead State University from 2004 to 2006.
