Sam Hubble has been with the Minnesota Timberwolves organization for five years, starting in October 2015 as the Data & CRM Specialist. In this role, Sam was responsible for administering and supporting the Microsoft Dynamics CRM database, as well as the KORE data warehouse. Sam also automated data processes and workflows to provide optimal end user experience across data systems.
In October 2017, Sam was promoted to Business Systems Analyst. In this role, Sam worked directly with technology vendors to coordinate the integration of new platforms to the data warehouse. Sam also developed business requirements, data structure, and process for integrating new customer engagement via the team’s mobile app, built metrics to evaluate use-cases, and ensured business strategies met the collective objectives.
Currently, Sam is the Manager of Business Strategy at the Minnesota Timberwolves. In this role, Sam is responsible for leading a team of analysts who support the organization’s business functions by providing data-driven insights. Sam and their team develop and maintain models that forecast various aspects of the business, such as ticket sales, sponsorship revenue, and merchandise sales. Additionally, Sam and their team work closely with the marketing department to develop targeted campaigns that drive revenue growth.
Sam Hubble has a Bachelor of Science in Finance, Sports Management, and Leadership from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management. Sam also has a certification from DocuSign in Docusign Administrator.
