Judd Brackett has been the Director of Amateur Scouting for the Minnesota Wild since June 2020. Judd previously served in the same role for Canucks Sports & Entertainment from September 2008 to June 2020. Prior to that, they were the VP Player Personnel for Indiana Ice Hockey from August 2008 to May 2014.
Brackett has been in the scouting business for over a decade. Judd got their start with the Indiana Ice Hockey in 2008 as VP Player Personnel. In this role, they were responsible for the team's player personnel, including draft preparation, scouting and recruiting. Judd helped lead the team to the Clark Cup Championship in 2014.
In September 2008, Brackett joined Canucks Sports & Entertainment as Director of Amateur Scouting. Judd was responsible for overseeing all aspects of amateur scouting, including draft preparation, player evaluation and scouting operations. Judd was with the organization for 12 years, until June 2020 when they joined the Minnesota Wild as Director of Amateur Scouting.
Judd Brackett has a degree in sociology from Connecticut College and a business management degree from Northeastern University. Judd also has a diploma from Phillips Academy.
