Zach Nugent

Zach Nugent is a seasoned communications and media relations specialist with extensive experience in journalism and media production. Currently, Zach serves as the Communication and Media Relations Specialist at Minnesota Zoo since February 2019. Previous roles include Media Producer at Animal Humane Society, Weekend Anchor/Reporter at WMTV NBC 15, and Anchor/Reporter/Producer at KEVN-TV. Zach also held positions at Tempestas et Caelum Productions, WEIU-TV, WICD-TV, and WIFR-TV, demonstrating a strong background in news reporting, producing, and editing. Zach holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Technology Training and Development and Broadcast Journalism from Eastern Illinois University, completed in 2011.
